ABOUT THE ARTISAN
Christopher’s iconic ceramic lamp designs draw inspiration from classical forms and traditional gem like glazes. He began his career in 1996 in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. where he worked out of an old school house and quickly began attracting the attention of designers including Richard Keith Langham and Albert Hadley. His business and reputation grew steadily over the next few years, and in the fall of 1999 he moved to New York City where he still creates his one of-a-kind lamps with a crew of skilled artisans. The lamps are of timeless appeal and luxurious quality. His beautiful forms are drenched in rich, vibrant colors and patterns. Each one of a kind lamp is set in a hand turned hardwood base, which is then water gilded with 23k yellow gold or 9k white gold. In recent years Christopher’s designs have moved beyond lamps and now encompass tableware, decorative accessories, mirrors and furniture.
Christopher's work is often featured in celebrated publications such as Architectural Digest, Veranda, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Departures, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. In 2016 he received an alumni citation for career achievement from his alma mater, St. Lawrence University. He has had the honor of making lamps for the Obama Oval Office, the current and past three White House Administrations, as well as Blair House and countless other distinguished American homes.
When not in the Studio, Christopher can be found at his farm in Millbrook, NY gardening, bee keeping, making jam, cooking for friends, or tending to his flock of heritage breed chickens, turkeys, peacocks and doves. He also enjoys the pleasure of giving back to the community by serving on the board of the local time-honored Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and as the Vice Chair of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club President's Dinner.
Orders are processed and shipped from our store in Falls Village, Connecticut on Thursday or Friday of each week.
Most items ship via UPS to United States residences only. Oversize items including furniture and artwork are shipped via FedEx Freight. If your purchase requires freight, please contact us at 860-453-4356 or firstname.lastname@example.org to place your order.
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
